It's vacation time, boys and girls. I'm off to Cape Cod. And since that is the case, Echo From Esoterica will return in September and back on a regular monthly schedule. Sorry for the absence of the June and August issues, but that's how it goes when you're writing for other sites as well, recording your album and then taking a nice break on vacation.

It's official. The new album is all complete, with artwork and fun, fun, fun. Want a copy? Then please head to Echo From Esoterica, go to The Stash, hit the Links and Email category and drop me a line by clicking on the mailman. If you're not interested, then buy some Chris Butler albums instead.

My new album is called The Outskirts and feautres 13 tracks of goodness. Clocking in at around 42 minutes, it'll keep yer attention without overstaying its welcome. It's as terrific as anything The Short Circus ever cranked out. Trust me on that one.

Fuckin' A. I was one of those users here that got hit with that 503 error, so I had to load up a new template. Fun, fun. Ah well, perhaps it was time for this new look anyway. Who knows. And semi-scratch the last post (which was supposed to have been posted yesterday but wasn't due to the error), because I went back and boosted the bass tracks on one of the songs and now the damn album is definitely finished. Hurrah.

OK, semi-scratch that last post. I went back in this morning and remixed a couple of the vocal tracks. I was listening to the disc over the weekend and thought the vocals in a couple of songs could be boosted a bit. That should be it though. I can't imagine the thing needing any more tweaking.
