Yes, it's been awhile since I posted anything regarding Avril. Aren't you glad? Still, I can't fathom why Cynthia Fuchs of PopMatters likes this chick so much. Every time I see her, she's opening her mouth and sounding like a complete dipshit. I witnessed her doing so just last night on that stupid urban legends show on MTV. Christ, the girl's not gonna be around that long. Her finicky audience who is as young as she is isn't going to "grow" with her. Like everything else, they'll grow out of her. And go ahead and compare her to Alanis. There's another act that has since continued to fade with each album after Jagged Little Pill, and rightly so. But Avril Lavigne as the real deal? I don't think so. Her tie will hang her soon enough if it hasn't yet.
