Best of the Best

OK, so I added the top 10/best of/greatest recordings/whatever you wanna call it list for 2002 on Echo From Esoterica. If you'd like to go straight to the goods, just follow this link. Enjoy.

Take A Sad Song And Make It Better

So what if Paul McCartney decided to reverse the Lennon/McCartney songwriting credits on his new live album? He did the same thing on Wings Over America, so this is nothing new. Of course, Yoko's having a fit over it. You'd think those two would just get over all the shit after all these years. The Lennon fans are probably disgruntled as well, but why bother getting worked up over something so trivial?

Oh...and didn't Please Please Me feature the tracks listed as "McCartney/Lennon" on the back? That's what I thought. Now quit yer cryin' and move along.

You Really Know How To Rate 'Em!

So Georgie Bush won Yahoo!s Person of the Year for 2002. Boooooooo. Of course, I'm not surprised. After all, the dude actually managed to become president. So getting this plastic award is not so unfathomable. This is one time I wish Eminem could have won. Lovely.

Mr. Lott's REEELY REEELY sorry...

So which of you douchebags found it necessary to have this guy in office? Trent "The Assplug" Lott has now delivered yet another apology, this time on BET. Can we say desperate? Sure we can.

Yet another unfuckingbelievable moron.

AFI Moment of Significance...American Idol?

AMERICAN IDOL

Foxs AMERICAN IDOL brought an old-fashioned concept into the new century when young amateurs from around the nation competed for the title of "American Idol." Founded in a television concept that can be traced back to Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts, which ran on CBS from 1948 to 1958, the slickly packaged summer series swept the nation with the notion that the American dream is still alive for young, talented performers.

So says AFI. Truly this panel had its head buried in its ass and choked on its own shit.

Yesterday was the kinda day that made me want to get it on with a turned on blender.

Yeah it was that good. Feh.
