Natalie Maines Says It All

Lead Dixie Chick Natalie Maines has apparently pissed off the ever-lovin' American country music fan base when she exclaimed during a London concert that "We're ashamed that the president of the United States is from Texas." Rock on, Natalie. If I do recall correctly, when Bushie got his little prize, a number of Texans were bemoaning the fact and took pity on the rest of the country.

So to add my two cents, I never liked the man, I didn't vote for him, and I highly doubt that his little bid for a schoolyard brawl will get him re-elected. I'll keep my fingers crossed on that one, at least.

Addendum

See that post on down there about Fred Durst? OK, well if anyone was thinking that I was complaining about him being anti-war, I wasn't. I could see how that post could be misconstrued that way. No, I was just making fun of the moron and his usage of imaginary words.

No, no one wrote in about this, but I was re-reading that and noticed that someone might read that and think I was pro-war. I'm not. 'Nuff said.

When they ask you to dance, don't pass, shake your ass...

Did I ever mention the band 13 Stories? Probably not. Well anyway, they were one of the few really great bands I ever found while trolling through the dumpy confines of mp3.com. A number of their tunes are currently playing on Radio EFE, so stop by the site and give a listen if you like. I highly suggest their lovely brand of rock.
